Autumn Adventure at Brockholes Nature Reserve! 🍂
🍁 Join us for an exciting Autumn Adventure! 🍁
Calling all kids aged 6-14! Get ready to explore the beauty of Autumn at the amazing Brockholes Nature Reserve. This fun-filled day will be packed with outdoor activities, perfect for celebrating the season with new friends. 🍃🍂
Here’s what we have planned:
🌳 Spot the Signs of Autumn: Keep your eyes peeled for colorful leaves, migrating birds, and other signs of the season as we walk through the woods!
🦔 Nature Hunt: We’ll search for natural materials like pinecones, leaves, and twigs to use in a special craft session where we’ll create clay models inspired by nature.
🏕️ Den Building: Work together to build your own woodland den using sticks, branches, and leaves. Let’s see who can create the best forest hideout!
🌲 Tree ID Challenge: Can you tell an oak from a sycamore? Learn to identify different trees and their leaves on our Autumn tree discovery tour.
🍫 Café Pitstop: After our adventure, we’ll head to the Brockholes café for a well-deserved treat and nature games. Hot chocolate and snacks will be available to refuel after a day of exploring!
👫 Ages: 6-14
🧥 What to bring: Dress for the weather (it’s Autumn, so layers and waterproofs recommended), comfortable shoes, and your best exploring spirit! Dont forget your lunch!
